See matter documents, client history, and missing-item checklists together. Keep the record connected as your team works through it.
Recovered Legal (AgentOS) is a local-first operating system for law practices. Bring matter documents, client follow-ups, and review work into one place—so your team spends less time reconstructing the file and more time moving it forward.
Treatment records and open items,
ready for a closer look.
Illustrative workspace · fictional demo content
A client conversation in one place. A treatment record in another. A draft waiting for review. Recovered Legal brings the context and the next step back to the matter.
See matter documents, client history, and missing-item checklists together. Keep the record connected as your team works through it.
Inspect extracted fields, chronology entries, and supported Q&A against the underlying documents. See what needs review and where information is missing.
Review drafts and proposed follow-ups, check supporting evidence, and track the decisions your team makes. Legal outputs require attorney review before use.
The current prototype runs on a Mac you control, with its working database stored locally. Its core demo workflows do not require a cloud AI account.
What that means for your practiceKeep the working record on your machine. Local backup, restore, and export tools support your firm’s control of its information.
Live AI and external services are off in this demo. Enabling a provider is a separate decision about which information it receives and how it is handled.
Signed-in accounts, matter access controls, review queues, and activity records help your team see who can work on what.
Our first end-to-end product target is personal injury for small firms. Explore the review tools already in the demo, with a clear view of what is still being built.
Explore a fictional injury matter through treatment records, bill observations, chronology, and source-linked review.
Existing contract, immigration, and estate examples show how the same source-and-review approach can support different practice needs.
Today’s demo uses fictional matters and simulated actions. New-matter intake and local file import remain planned; this is a working prototype, not a production release.
The software helps organize and prepare the work. Your practice remains responsible for the legal judgment.

Check extracted information, chronology entries, and supported answers against their sources. Resolve gaps before relying on the work.
Have a qualified legal reviewer assess legal outputs before use. Review proposed actions and follow their simulated outcomes in the demo.
We partner with law firms to build custom software solutions that fit the way their teams work. Your people, processes, and day-to-day challenges shape what we build together.
From matter workflows and document organization to review steps and connections with existing tools, we start with your needs and agree on a focused scope. Local-first design and attorney oversight remain at the center.

Small law practices that want their matter work, documents, and review process in one local workspace. Our initial operating model targets firms of one to five people using one always-on Mac, with personal injury as the first complete workflow target.
Yes. We welcome partnerships with law firms to design and build custom solutions around their workflows and priorities. We work together to define the scope, any integrations, and the review process. Custom capabilities are scoped with your firm; the guided demo shows the current prototype.
Recovered Legal is software for law practices, not a provider of legal advice. Its Q&A works with supplied matter documents; it is not a legal research database. Legal conclusions and legal outputs require a qualified reviewer. The product does not predict settlements, value claims, or calculate legal deadlines.
The working demo includes fictional matters, document review, source-linked Q&A, extraction, chronologies, checklists, drafts, and simulated follow-ups. New-client and matter intake, local file import, and a single end-to-end reviewed packet flow remain on the MVP roadmap. Use synthetic information only at this stage.
The current demo uses local processing and simulated channels. Optional live AI or external connections would introduce separate data flows if enabled. Local-first describes where the working record lives and who controls it; it is not an automatic compliance guarantee.
No. You can explore the current demo without an AI subscription. It uses local, rule-based workflows and does not call a live model by default. Optional providers and spending limits require separate setup.
